What is Bratz?

Bratz is a popular children's and teens doll. They are 10 inches tall and they usually have large heads with wide eyes, full lips, small noses and short torsoes and shoes that can be snapped on and off.

The four main dolls are named Cloe, Sasha, Jade and Yasmin. Due to the extreme popularity of the bratz they have made additional friends, films, games and music albums with bratz as the main theme.

It was in the 60's that coloring pages was the most popular. Tons of subjects appeared in them, like Cracker Jack, Planters Peanuts and Campbell Soup. Though, there were the popular themes from the tv shows back then that were most popular in coloring books or coloring pages. The Flintstones and The Addams Family to mention some.

Coloring books was originally painting books, and has seeds back to the 1880s, The McLoughlins produced "The Little Folks Painting Book" with the noted illustrator Kate Greenaway.

Coloring books would expand in the 20th century beyond comic strip characters and heroes to feature cartoons, radio and television, Disney, cowboys, historical themes, movies, advertising, and even ice skating (Sonja Henie had her own coloring books in 1939 and in 1940 ).

Things have evolved since then. Today its the stuff we see on the kids tv channels that is the main theme of the coloring books. And one of the most pupular themes for girls is Bratz Coloring Pages.
